In 1993 plans were discussed to apply total quality management principles to the Graduate School and Financial Aid Office at Auburn University. Later that year the Office for Assessment and Quality Improvement established a pilot project to evaluate and assess work quality in the Graduate School and Financial Aid Office. The final reports were completed for the Financial Aid Office in November of 1993 and for the Graduate School in October of 1994.
