Biographical Sketch:
Taylor D. Littleton was a professor of English and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Auburn University. He attended Florida State University where he received a B.A., M.A. and PhD. in English Literature. He served in the Korean War and in 1957 began teaching at Auburn University. In 1960, he became an assistant professor and later became chair of the English Department in 1961. In 1972, then Auburn University President Dr. Philpott appointed Littleton Vice President for Academic Affairs, where he served for ten and half years. Littleton continued his career at the University as the Franklin Foundation professor after his formal retirement.

Scope and Content:
Contains the oral history and transcript papers of an interview conducted between Dwayne Cox and Taylor Littleton. Littleton discusses his forty years of service at Auburn University.
