Historical or Biographical Sketch:
Brack Walker was an Instructor in Art and Associate Professor of Art at Auburn University from 1961 to 1969. Mr. Walter had a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florence State University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California. He wrote and illustrated the animated film, "For Want of a Catapult," a satire on weapons and war. He later held a position as Professor of Art at Memphis State University.

Scope and Content:
Collection consists of correspondence, sketches, research materials and photographs related to the television production of "For Want of a Catapult". This program, a satire on weaponry which was written and illustrated by Walker, appeared on Alabama ETV in 1964 and on the ABC Directions 66 series in 1966.
