Historical or Biographical Sketch:
Earle Marion Sigler was born on December 5, 1915 in Mobile, Alabama. He attended Alabama Polytechnic Institute (presently Auburn University) from 1933 to 1938. He was a member, and Vice President, of college's the Eta Kappa Nu fraternity, the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, the Auburn Radio Club and Auburn Camera Club. He graduated from A. P. I. in 1938 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he returned to Mobile where he worked for Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company and for Illinois Instruments as a regional sales manager. Earle Sigler died on June 15, 2002 in Mobile at age 86.

Scope and Content:
Consists of two class notebooks and photographs taken by Earle M. Sigler when he was a student at Alabama Polytechnic Institute (presently Auburn University) from 1933 to 1938. Includes pictures of classmates, college events on campus or in the City of Auburn, and various buildings on campus or near Auburn.
