Biographical Sketch:  2nd Lt. Earl Alexander, Jr., (15th Squadron, 61st Group, United States Army Air Force) was stationed at various air bases in the United States during World War II.  He also spent time in Belem, Brazil, North Africa, and France.

Scope / Content:  These letters from a United States Army Air Force pilot to his parents during World War II cover flight training, military service, and the author's observations regarding various localities.  The dated letters are arranged in chronological order.  The undated letters are arranged by the location indicated on the letterhead.  Some of the letters are undated and have no location on the letterhead.
