Biographical Sketch: The 63rd Georgia Regiment was also known as the Thunderbolt Battery.
Scope / Content: Most of the documents were written by Capt. C. J. White, Acting Quartermaster, Colston's Brigade. Many of the documents concern the Atlanta campaign. They also relate to expenses to catch deserters, build winter quarters and stables, construction of a telegraph station, the requisition of ambulances, acquisition of privately-owned horses for military use, planting abandoned fields, and loss of food supplies.
