Biographical Sketch:  Pierson served as a corporal in the U.S. Air Force, 63rd Air Service Group, 376th Air Service Squadron during World War II.

Scope / Content:  Letters, arranged chronologically, from Corporal Benjamin Pierson, Jr. to his wife during World War II.  The letters describe Pierson’s various experiences in the United States 376th Air Service Squadron; 63rd Air Service Group-Spokane Air Depot. The letters are written from Galena, Washington, Boeing School of Aeronautics at Oakland, California, and O’Fallon Field, Illinois, and other letters from various fields.
