Biographical Sketch: During World War II, Stanely G. Ivins enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force, and over the next two years, he worked his way up to the rank of lieutenant. He was stationed in various places such as Jefferson, Missouri; Lincoln, Nebraska; Wayne, Pennsylvania; Boca Raton, Florida; and Orlando, Florida.
Scope / Content: Contains letters Ivins wrote to his parents and his wife, Greta, about his experiences on different bases as he trained in the Air Force
