| Photo Date: | 1940 |
| ROTC students are shown leaving Bullard Field after completing drill in 1940. At left is Duncan Hall. This field was dedicated in 1930 in honor of General Robert Lee Bullard, World War I hero and Auburn alumnus. In 1952, women's dormitories 5 through 9 were built on the field. ROTC drills were moved to Max Morris Field at Wire Road and Thach and West Magnolia avenues. Morris, an outstanding API student and football player, was killed in action during the Korean War. -- Photo: AU Archives |
