To be representative of writing, the assignment needs to have more information about the goals of the writing assignment, the elements of the writing assignment, and the number of pages students should complete.

The instructor indicates that she/he expects students to compare and contrast the views of various psychologists. In doing so, she encourages students to use critical thinking skills and directs students to do research as part of the assignment. It is definitely an information literacy assignment.
