As of June 1, 2001 the Association for Computing Machinery Library contains over 69,000 full-text articles from journals, magazines, and conference proceedings. Tables of contents with over 23,000 citations from articles published in journals and magazines from 1954 forward. Tables of contents with more than 48,000 citations from articles published in over 990 volumes of conference proceedings since 1985. About 1/2 million article references for ACM articles are available with about 200,000 links to full bibliographic information for those references, with 50,000 further links to full text.

Produced by the National Agricultural Library (NAL), United States Department of Agriculture, the AGRICOLA ((AGRICultural OnLine Access) database is a computer file of agricultural literature acquired by the National Agricultural Library and cooperating institutions. The database contains reference citations with some abstracts, to agriculture journals, reports, and book chapters in all formats. The database has a worldwide scope, and covers all areas of agriculture including: animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences. This database contains an estimated 4.1 million records, starting in 1970 to Present.

Provides access to: Code of Alabama: These are the Alabama statutes, as updated upon publication of the hardbound code supplements. The Code is presented by Title, in a frame format, in order to provide ease of navigation between Sections within each Title. The Code is searchable, by entering keyword (s), Title or Section; Constitution of 1901: This is the current Constitution under which Alabama operates. The Constitution is also searchable; Session Information: This includes the text, current status and history of bills and resolutions introduced in the current session, as well as confirmations granted by the Senate, query capability for bills or resolutions based on a particular status along with various reports. Such information remains on the site until the beginning of a subsequent session. American State Papers, 1789-1838
A major collection of U. S. federal government documents, the American State Papers consist of bound volumes of all reports, documents, and journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives for the years 1789-1838. The American State Papers are the predecessor to the U.S. Congressional Serial Set which begins with the 15th. Congress in 1817 and continues through the present. The digitization of the Serial Set is being done in stages by the Readex company and is part of the Archive of Americana series of databases and currently is available for the 15th. - 58th. Congress (1817-1904). Eventually, this database will provide coverage through the 96th. Congress (1980). This database can be searched and browsed. PDF images of all documents are available for downloading and printing

ARTFL Project
The ARTFL implementation of the FRANTEXT database (formerly the Trésor de la Langue Française) consists of nearly 2000 texts, ranging from classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose and technical writing. The eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries are about equally represented, with a smaller selection of seventeenth century texts as well as some medieval and Renaissance texts. Genres include novels, verse, theater, journalism, essays, correspondence, and treatises. Subjects include literary criticism, biology, history, economics, and philosophy. In most cases standard scholarly editions were used in converting the text into machine-readable form, and the data contain page references to these editions.

Children's Core Collection and its archive are the electronic versions of Wilson's standard reference work of the same name. Children's Core collection is a selective annotated list of fiction and nonfiction books and magazines for children from preschool through sixth grade, along with review sources and other professional aids for children's librarians and school media specialists. Nonfiction works are classified by subject according to the Dewey Decimal Classification. Works of fiction, story collections, and picture books are designated Fic, S C, and E.

The CLCD presently contains more than 600,000 catalog records in MARC format that have children's headings assigned. Current Research Information System (CRIS) is a database containing reports of current, ongoing, and recently completed federal and state supported research projects in the fields of agriculture, food and nutrition, and forestry. This database is produced by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The Turfgrass Information Center (TIC) is a repository of publicly available and selected professional, trade and scholarly information on turgrass. The Center provides a searchable database of over 140,000 records of information sources on turfgrasss, of which about one-third contain full-text sources. These services are only available from the CD-ROM workstation at the 2nd floor reference desk of the RBD Library.

Immediate (no login) access from AU campus network connections, but remote (non AU network) access requires a user login. These restrictions serve to limit usage to Auburn University - Auburn faculty, staff, and students as required by license agreements with the publishers and/or vendors.
