About Us


The Library of Architecture, Design, & Construction (LADC), a branch of Auburn University’s Ralph Brown Draughon Library, supports the research and teaching needs of the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC).  The library is also a resource for professionals in related fields and for the community.

The library houses a collection of approximately 40,000 volumes focused on architecture, building science, community planning, graphic design, industrial design, interiors architecture, and landscape architecture disciplines; and subscribes to over 100 domestic and foreign periodicals. The library also maintains a collection of 80,000 slides and a collection of approximately 800 videos and DVDs as instructional support for the CADC.  

Services provided include reference assistance, extended weeknight hours, use of equipment and circulation of materials.

Kasia oversees administration of the LADC’s services and policies. She provides reference, instruction, collection development and outreach for all the programs in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction.

Angelina is the student supervisor at LADC.  She also creates signage for the hallway outside of LADC, manages the LADC's Facebook page, blog, website and assists patrons at the circulation desk.

Sarah Anderson, Library Technical Specialist

Sarah manages course reserve materials, oversees the print journals, responds to Interlibrary Loan and AubieExpress requests, supervises inventory, handles missing and lost book problems, processes and catalogs material samples for the Materials Lab, troubleshoots equipment, and provides circulation assistance.
