Quarterly report prepared by the American Chambers of Commerce which provides costs comparisons of various goods and consumer services for over 200 U.S. cities. Electronic version contains population and finance data for the largest cities in the U.S. (metropolitan areas over 1.5. million).

Quarterly report compiled by the various district of the Federal Reserve on the economy and economic outlook of the various regions. The WEB site offers extensive material about the Federal Reserve (including a listing of its regulations from A to Z), a very extensive list of their books, pamphlets, staff studies, periodic releases, and miscellaneous publications (with ordering information). For data, they offer the following statistical releases: G.17 (Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization); H.3 (Aggregate Reserves and the Monetary Base); H.6 (Money Stock and Components); H.8 (Assets and Liabilities of Insured Domestically Chartered and Foreign-Related Banking Institutions); and H.15 (Interest Rates and Bond Yields).

Data from the 1970, 1980, and 1990 U.S. Censuses. Nationwide data from the 1970, 1980, and 1990 U.S. Censuses are available at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). The LBNL data archive is believed to be the most complete collection of U.S. Census data on the Internet. The activities described below represent about 100 person-years of development effort. Annual series with a separate report for each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and a U.S. summary. Contains employment and payroll data, and number of establishments by employment size. Only government series that provides annual sub national data by 2, 3, and 4 digit Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes. For some small areas, data are suppressed to avoid disclosing information on individual firms. Latest version at MADD (1st floor) CD-ROM Work Station #3. The Data Extraction Service allows users to specify their own 'data extract', or subset of the master data file, in their choice of one of several popular data formats. The extracted data can then be down-loaded to the user's local computer for research and analysis purposes.
