Alexander Hamilton Videos

The Special Collections and Archives Department of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library will show two videos on the life of Alexander Hamilton, first Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 4.

One video is a documentary film (approximately 30 minutes) and the other is a play that uses almost entirely the words of Hamilton and his contemporaries (approximately 60 minutes). Both videos are accompanying the traveling exhibit “Alexander Hamilton: The Man Who Made America.” The exhibit was prepared by the New York Historical Society, the Gilder Lehrman Institute, and the American Library Association, with a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The exhibit will remain in the Special Collections and Archives Department on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library through April 15.

All are welcome to view the exhibit and attend the showing of the videos at 3 p.m. on April 4. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Dwayne Cox at 844-1707 or coxdway@auburn.edu
