This will be the last Bits & PCs until October.
During September I will be on vacation and when I get back before the Fall
Quarter I imagine that all of us will be busy preparing for the new academic
year. The new year will bring many challenges and many comings and
goings. The co-editor for Bits & PCs, Tom Glynn will be stepping
down from this position and I encourage anyone who wants to help put out
a newsletter that reflects the activities and interests of the Library
staff to come on board. Over the past six months Tom has given me
an education in web publishing that I could not have gotten elsewhere and
I am deeply grateful for all he has taught me.
I also wish to say good-bye to Paul Bredderman who is moving home to
New York (take my advice Paul, buy a snowblower!) and to Tammy Lee, who
if you don't know is taking over the Medical Library in Augusta, Georgia.
I am sure that Tammy will discover that the difference between a Vet School
and a Medical College is that the patients complain more at the later!
Good luck to everybody.
