Focus and Scope

The purpose of Bits & PCs, the internal newsletter of the Auburn University Libraries, is to serve as a vehicle for communication among library administration, faculty, and staff. In addition, the newsletter seeks to foster collegiality, cooperation, and positive morale among its readers. In order to accomplish these goals the editorial staff will strive to provide positive and pertinent information in a timely manner.

Peer Review Process

The editorial staff of Bits n PCs has editorial responsibility for the newsletter, and reserves the right to accept or refuse publication of any submission. Views expressed in the newsletter are those of contributing authors and not necessarily those of the editorial staff, Auburn University Libraries, or Auburn University. Content of contributions to the newsletter may be edited for grammar, space allocation, and aptness in correlation with the purpose of the newsletter.  Contributors wishing to be alerted to editorial decisions must notify the editors at the time their contribution is submitted; otherwise the submission, if accepted for publication, will be published within the scope of the editorial policy.
