New Library Opens (1909)
On January 11, 1909, the new library opened for service. It was dedicated in December 1909.
Move to Carnegie Library (December 1908)
In December of 1908, the Library moved to the Carnegie Library.
First Trained Librarian Hired
On July 15th, 1908, Miss Shrivers, the first trained librarian, was hired.
Dewey Decimal Classification adopted
