Indexes and Databases

All databases are available on campus and remotelyunless otherwise noted.  To access a resource from home, you willneed to type your library ID and last name.  Your library ID is usually:two, zero, your Social Security Number, then zero.  For example: A person with the Social Security Number 123-45-6789 has the library ID: 201234567890

An index with abstracts to periodicals in business, including economics,finance, accounting, management, marketing, and transportation. Coverageis from 1971 forward and approximately 60% of the database is full text.

An index and database of business news and information, legal news, cases, and general news from many regional and national newspapers. Much of the material is full text.

Contains information, facts, and figures dealing with public and privatecompanies, industries, products and markets for all manufacturing and serviceindustries at an international level. Coverage is from 1994 forward andapproximately 60% of the database is full text.

Provides hard-to-find local and regional business newspaper articles from over 400 U.S. cities. Covering private and public companies, its monthly updates provide current full-text articles and index citations to specific company and industry issues and events.

Emerald - the Electronic Management Research Libray Database- puts all the resources of a full management library on to a standard PC. Brought to you by MCB University Press, it delivers multi-user access to over 130 journals.
National Trade Databank: http://www.lib.auburn.edu/NTDB
Provides access to export promotion data and international economic data from the U.S. Government. Includes the best of the trade promotion and economic data from over 18 federal agencies. Contains the complete World Fact Book, as well as information about hundreds of foreign countries on market research reports, economic trade, and exchange rates. The Foreign Traders Index is a source of information for exporting overseas. The export yellow pages as well as various contact lists and trade promotion calendars contain valuable information for exporters. Several Army Area Handbooks are contained in this data bank.

Provides international coverage of textile literature and related subjects. The database covers over 650 journals as well as books, theses, patents, standards and conferences. Subjects include dyeing, mill operation, man- made fibers, preservation, apparel design, marketing and statistics.
World Textile Abstracts (Paper Resource Only):
A comprehensive index of textile abstracts located on the 4th floor of the RBD Library. [TS 1300 .W6].
