a vast amount of information published by and about the United States Congress. It
provides a seamless link to the full range of legislative and public policy resources,
including: Congressional documents and related resources as well as a number of

- PAIS
International (Public Affairs Information Service)(Indexing service that covers 1972
to the present. Indexes titles such as the Wall Street Journal, American Journal of
Political Science, and American Spectator. Requires library ID for off campus

- Statistical Universe (Can be used to
find all statistics issued by the U.S. government back to 1973 through the American
Statistics Index (ASI); some 1,000 of the best statistical publications of private and
state government sources from 1980 forward through the Statistical Reference Index (SRI).

VI. Full-Text Journal Databases
- JSTOR (JSTOR provides access to the
backfiles of scholarly publications
covering the social sciences, humanities, and sciences. JSTOR includes the full
runs of each journal,generally up to 1-7 years from the present. A sophisticated
search engine supports full-text and cross-disciplinary searching of the journals
and presentation of page images allows viewing of the articles exactly as they

- Project Muse (Full-text of over 40 print
journals in the humanities, social sciences,
and mathematics from the Johns Hopkins University Press covering 1990-present.
