[edit] Literature Resource Center

What it can help you do:

  • Locate full text topic and work overviews on Madame Bovary that provide a general historical context for the novel.
  • Locate other resources that may speak more directly to your topic by reviewing the bibliographies at the end of the full text articles.
  • Remember to scroll to the bottom of the basic search screen and make sure only "Topic & Work Overviews" is checked off.

[edit] Library Catalog

www.lib.auburn.edu => Find => Books and Journals

What it can help you do:

  • Locate books or articles you found referenced through Literature Resource Center by searching by the title of the journal or book you found a reference to. Do this through the "Basic Search" screen in the catalog.
  • Locate books on your topic through the "Keyword Search" screen. Remember to use "?" for truncation and the drop down menus to indicate if you want to search for a group of words "as a phrase" or anywhere in the record ("any of these").
  • Remember to follow the subject hyperlinks listed for a book if you would like to find more books on the same topic!
