Auburn University Libraries has been a depository for U.S. government publications since 1907. Many Federal documents can be found by searching the Libraries' catalog. For reference assistance or help in locating documents not found in the catalog, stop by the Service Desk on the 1st floor of the Library, e-mail the Microforms and Government Documents Unit, or call 334-844-1702.
Government documents, microforms, and maps are located on the 1st floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

- U.S. Congressional Serial Set
- Reports, documents, and journals of the U.S. Senate and House from 1817-1977.
- American State Papers
- The legislative and executive documents of Congress during the period 1789 to 1838.
- Serial Set Maps
- Maps published in the Serial Set. Includes maps in diverse subjects such as military history, agriculture, forestry, and transportation.

Auburn University Libraries holds a large collection of technical reports in the Microforms and Government Documents area. Some reports are listed in the catalog, but not all. Even if a report is not listed in the catalog, we may still own it.
