The IFS database contains approximately 32,000 time series covering more than 200 countries and areas. This database is published by the International Monetary Fund. Data is provided to help analyze international payments, rates of inflation and deflation, exchange rates, international liquidity, international banking, monetary policy, interest rates, prices, production and government and national accounts.
The data on the CD-Rom disk is cumulative, going back to 1948 for annual entries and back to 1957 for quarterly and monthly entries.
Search results can be downloaded into Excel format.

CD-ROM access only. Available from the CD-ROM workstation at the 2nd Floor Reference Desk in the RBD Library.
Click on the
icon on the Desktop to load the database.
You may need to insert the most recent monthly CD-ROM into the computer to load new data. Ask a librarian at the Reference Desk for assistance.
