- You must first register from an on-campus computer. Complete registration from your AU email account.

- On-campus login directly to
- https://scifinder.cas.org/
- Off-campus has two options:
- Off-campus login to SciFinder Web
- Establish a VPN connection. Then, log on via the on-campus link.
- AU Wireless requires a VPN connection. Then, login as on-campus.

[edit] Download the SciFinder Scholar 2007 Client
- Read and Accept the user agreement
- There are two files to download and install:
- The SciFinder Scholar program
- The site preference file

- On-campus
- Start the SciFinder Scholar program
- Off-campus or via AU Wireless
- Establish a VPN connection. Then, start the SciFinder Scholar program.
