[edit] Two warnings
- Please log off when you are done searching. The number of simultaneous users is limited.
- Do not share your SciFinder Web user name and password. The consequences can be severe. Auburn University could lose its access to SciFinder Web and SciFinder Scholar.
[edit] SciFinder Web or the traditional client SciFinder Scholar?
- There is no simple answer. See below for a brief comparison.
- The data is the same -- but there are some functional and operational differences.
- Auburn University plans to offer both SciFinder Web and the traditional client SciFinder Scholar for the for the foreseeable future.
- You can use both versions -- but please not at the same time! If you are using time-intensive analyze features, then you probably are better off using the traditional client.
- We have a limited number of simultaneous users for each version. If you get a busy signal, then try the other version (we have to split the number of simultaneous users between the two version).
