The Auburn University Libraries online catalog, AUBIEcat, now defaults to the Keyword search screen rather than the "Basic" (no link provided here because the system times out after five minutes) search screen. The reason for making this change is to make it more convenient for the majority of library patrons who are more likely to be looking for library materials about a certain topic rather than for a specific author or title.

The online catalog ("AUBIEcat") is located by clicking on the Books and Journals link located in the upper left hand side of the AU Libraries homepage .
