The Kings and Queens of Britain

One of many Oxford University Press reference sources now available electronically through the Oxford Reference Online database, The Kings and Queens of Britain is a dictionary that provides brief entries on English, Scottish, Welsh, and Irish monarchs, from mythical and Romano-British rulers to the House of Windsor. This source also provides extended entries on themes such as Coronations and Regalia, and on significant royal residences or traditions like Sandringham House and touching for the King’s Evil. The Kings and Queens of Britain is also available in print on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library under call number DA 28.1 .C36 2001.
