The Auburn University Libraries welcomed new and returning students back to campus on August 16-17, 2007 with the Information Oasis tent on the concourse outside of Haley Center.  We offered cold water during the 100-degree weather, highlighters, magnets, and pens as freebies.  Librarians were also on hand to answer students' questions about campus.

The photos have been mounted on the Flickr site for your viewing enjoyment.

Online access to this database has been greatly improved recently:  instead of requiring the assistance of a Reference Librarian to log in, Valueline.com now is available to an unlimited number of simultaneous users (must be an Auburn University student, faculty, member or staff member to use off campus).

Like the print publication, Valueline.com provides investment research on stocks, mutual funds, options, and convertibles, and offers a family of no-load mutual funds.  Effective 2008:  the print subscription to The Value Line Investment Survey located on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library in the Reference Collection under call number HG 4501 .V26, will be replaced by the online version profiled here with the exception of the "Selection and Opinion" section of which the Library will retain only the current year.
