Located in the five flat glass display cases on the east side of the Special Collections and Archives Department is an exhibit on "American Archives Month:  Celebrating the American Record."

The exhibit includes information on the life cycle of archival records, a glossary of terms, and examples of archival materials such as ephemera including postcards and pamphlets; archival supplies such as document cleaning pads and latex gloves; photographs and negatives; and artifacts including flint Indian arrowheads and a brick from Broun Hall.

The Special Collections and Archives Department is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
