EndNote (Citation Software) Seminars

Seminars on EndNote citation software are being offered to faculty members and graduate students during the Fall Semester.  Click on the Seminars link located in the lower left hand side of the Auburn University Libraries homepage for registration information, etc.    Seminars are free but registration is required.

Currently, the following Endnote seminars are being offered at 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.:

Hand Sanitizers

To help combat the spread of the swine flu, the Ralph Brown Draughon Library has installed several hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.  Simply place your hand underneath the sanitizer opening to automatically receive the hand sanitizing foam.

Miller Writing Center

The Miller Writing Center now has two locations:  3183 Haley Center and the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

The Miller Writing Center provides one-to-one, face-to-face tutoring in writing and reading and is available for tutoring for walk-ins in the library location.  See http://www.auburn.edu/writingcenter for more information.

The Miller Writing Center provides tutoring services for students currently enrolled in the following courses:

Science:  GEOL 1100 and GEOL 1110

Written Comp./Literature:  ENGL 1100; ENGL 1120; ENGL 2200; and ENGL 2210

Social Science:  GEOG 1010 and PSYC 2010

Fine Arts:  THEA 2010.

Please note the Hours of Operation for the Library location for the Miller Writing Center:  Sunday – Thursday, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Academic Support Moves to Library

Academic Support Services has moved from Cater Hall to the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

Academic support offers a number of services including:  academic coaching and counseling; learning communities; study partners, Study Smart; supplemental instructions, and more.  See http://www.auburn.edu/academicsupport and http://www.auburn.edu/tutoring for more information.

Academic Support services are now located in Room 0176, located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

Auburn Tigers Exhibit

The Special Collections and Archives Department is currently featuring an exhibit titled “Tigers, Tigers Everywhere” concerning the Auburn Tigers football team.

The exhibit, located in the five glass flatcases on the east side of the department,  features numerous photographs, informational captions, and fascinating memorabilia such as sheet music, Glomerata pages from the 1920’s and earlier, game tickets, and even a set of playing cards featuring photographs of the 1972 team.

The Special Collections and Archives Department is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

Vending Machines

Three vending machines offering drinks and nutritious snacks have been installed in the foyer of the Parking Deck entrance on the First Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
