Starting on Wednesday, November 18, construction work will begin in the southeastern section of the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

The construction work is needed for the creation of the Miller Writing Center,  the Study Partners tutoring service,  and a large Learning Commons area including four new group study rooms, new furniture, and the addition of approximately 300 electrical outlets.

It is anticipated that the construction work will continue through January 10 (with a break in construction during Final Exams), so that the new facilities will be available for the start of the Spring Semester on January 11.
