Thanks to the recent recarpeting project, the Special Collections and Archives Department, located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library, has a new floor arrangement.  The main desk now faces the entrance and tables available to researchers are located to one's right  just past the main desk upon entering.  Many of the Alabama-related flags formerly hung from the ceiling have been removed, allowing more convenient access to the rest of the department including the glass display cases, many of which have been installed in new locations.
