To commemorate the landing on the Moon of Apollo 11 that took place on July 20, 1969, the Ralph Brown Draughon Library has mounted an exhibit of some of the books in the library collections concerning the Apollo program.  The books include histories commissioned by NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Agency) such as Stages to Saturn, memoirs by engineers who worked in the program such as Moon Lander, autobiographies of astronauts such as Carrying the Fire, and biographies of NASA's Marshall Spaceflight Center's Werner von Braun.  The exhibit is in the New Books collection located in the Mell Street entrance lobby area on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library in front of the Caribou Coffee cafe.
