Over 200 new titles are arriving this year as part of the Auburn University Libraries Juvenile Award Winner Approval Plan.  Many of these titles are now on display in the New Books shelf located on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.  the New Books shelf is located in front of the Caribou Coffee cafe.

These books represent the following awards, medals, and honors:

  • Mildred L. Batchelder Award
  • Michael L. Printz Award/Honor for Excellence in Young Adult Literature
  • Newbery Medal and Honors
  • NCTE Orbis Pictus Award/Honors for Outstanding Nonfiction for Children
  • Pura Belpré Award and Honors
  • Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Award/Honors
  • Scott O'Dell Award for Historical Fiction
  • USBBY: Outstanding International Book List
  • YALSA Award and Finalists for Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults
