To commemorate the 100th. anniversary of the start of World War I, the Special Collections and Archives Department has mounted an exhibit featuring sheet music and also photographs and memorabilia from the Eddie Rickenbacker Collection.  Rickenbacker (1890 - 1973) was known as the Ace of Aces as a pilot in World War I.  He shot down 21 enemy planes and 5 enemy balloons.

The Special Collections and Archives Department is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.   The exhibit is located in several glass display cases located on the left hand side upon entering the department following the first five glass display cases featuring an exhibit on William Shakespeare and Elizabethan Literature.
