Miller Writing Center Open May 19 – July 25

The Miller Writing Center will be open this summer to all students from May 19 through July 25 in two locations: the Ralph Brown Draughon Library and the Student Athlete Development Center. Click here for more information on how to make an appointment, hours of operation, etc.

The Ralph Brown Draughon Library location is on the Second Floor next to the Learning Commons area. The library location telephone number is 844-7482. The library location hours of operation are Monday - Thursday, 1 - 4 p.m. and Sunday, 4 - 7 p.m.

Fax Machine Available at Study ER

The Auburn University Bookstore now offers fax service at its Ralph Brown Draughon Library location, the Study ER, located on the Second Floor. The service costs $1.00 per page, the same rate as offered by the Bookstore at its Haley Center location.

EndNote and Advanced EndNote (Citation Software) Seminars

Seminars on EndNote and Advanced EndNote software citation programs are being offered during the Summer Semester. Click on the Seminars link located under the "Services" link located in the upper left hand side of the screen of the Auburn University Libraries homepage for registration information, etc. Seminars are free but registration is required.

Currently, the following EndNote and Advanced EndNote seminars are being offered:

EndNote: Saturday, June 1: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Advanced EndNote: Saturday, June 1: 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

EndNote: Tuesday, June 11: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Office Supply Vending Machine on 1st. Floor

An office supply vending machine has been installed on the First Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library near the entrance of the Media and Digital Resources Lab (MDRL). The machine stocks office supplies such as pens, batteries, flash drives, and more.

New Furniture for 4th. Floor Quiet Study

Several dozen state-of-the-art study carrels and pods have been installed on the Fourth Floor, the designated quiet study area of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. Electrical power to these units is expected to be installed by April 27.

Funding for this renovation is provided by a generous donation from EBSCO Industries, Inc.

Study Partners Offers Extended Hours

Study Partners, Auburn University's Peer Tutoring Program, is pleased to announce its Spring 2013 extended hours of operation. Study Partners is now open Monday - Thursday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Appointments may be made online, in person, or by telephone. All tutoring takes place in the Learning Commons located on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

OIT Help Desk Expands Hours in Learning Commons

The OIT (Office of Information Technology) Help Desk has expanded its hours of operation in the Learning Commons. Located immediately to the right of the Reference Desk, the OIT Help Desk Learning Commons service point is now open during the following hours:

Monday - Thursday: 1 - 10 p.m.

Friday: 1 - 5 p.m.

Sunday: 5 - 10 p.m.

The OIT Help Desk main office, located on the Third Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library maintains the following hours of operation:

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday: 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.
