The Digital Resource Lab has a new web site located on the Auburn University Libraries' homepage under the "Services' heading in the middle of the screen.

The Digital Resource Laboratory (DRL) at the Ralph Brown Draughon Library is designed to help Auburn University students, faculty, and staff use multimedia materials in their class assignments and course projects. It does this by providing access to the latest multimedia hardware and software, together with the on-site technical expertise needed to use these resources to best advantage. The DRL is committed to serving the multimedia technology needs of Auburn University students and faculty in all academic disciplines.

The Digital Resource Lab has recently been expanded; there will be a formal opening at the end of the Summer.

Patrons using AUBIEcat, the Auburn University Libraries' online public access catalog, will now automatically encounter the "Ask a Librarian" online chat service link if they encounter a problem while conducting a search for library materials.  Formerly known as "InfoChat," the "Ask a Librarian" online chat service link has been available for a number of years in the upper right hand side of the Auburn University Libraries homepage under the heading "Ask a Librarian."  AUBIEcat , the online public access catalog, is located under the Books and Journals link located on the A. U. Libraries homepage on the left side of the screen under the heading "Find."

We hope the additional access point will remind patrons of the availability of this service.

Here is the location of the new Assistive Technology Lab:  upon entering the Mell Street entrance of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library, turn immediately to your left.  The lab is located behind the fifth door down and is clearly labeled.
