Fame, fortune and professional recognition awaits you at the 2017 Annual Convention will be held April 18-21, 2017, in Montgomery. Poster sessions are a chance for librarians and staff from public, academic/special and K-12 libraries to share creative and innovative ideas with others in Alabama. It's a time to feature recent research, successful solutions to problems, and unique innovations that may be of help to others. Divisions, Roundtables and Committees can also use these sessions to showcase their offerings.

Each participant will be provided a poster board and an easel near the convention exhibit area. Be sure your presentation is readable from at least four feet away. Presenters will have time to arrange their exhibit and then spend 45 minutes answering questions posed by conference attendees. There are three poster session categories: academic/special libraries, public libraries, school libraries. A 200 word abstract outlining your presentation should be submitted by January 31st, 2017.
