Dear AU Libraries friends and donors:
While our library faculty and staff have kept up their hard work throughout the summertime, we are already preparing for the busy fall semester to come. And we are very excited about welcoming over 5,000 new students who will embark on their educational journey at Auburn University.
Through this newsletter, you will see several programs and projects that we initiated and accomplished in spring 2022: hosting a group of students from Sanford Middle School who learned digital literacy, observed the use of the RBD’s Digital Wall, were introduced to Adobe Creative tools, and had hands-on time with VR tools; two excellent exhibits celebrating the silver anniversary of the first Harry Potter book and the 50th anniversary of the first home video game console; Special Collections and Archives’ open house in spring, and the student-curated exhibits with the common theme of “The Art of the Book.” These outreach and engagement activities with the AU campus and beyond offered excellent opportunities to communicate our services, resources, and programs. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continuing support and generous funding donations that have enabled us to provide the best services to Auburn faculty and students.
War Eagle!
