Dear AU Libraries friends and donors:
Happy New Year!
When we bid a goodbye to the past year and welcomed the AU students for the spring semester in 2022, I would like to share with you that, with your continual support and funding contributions, we have provided the best services, resources, programs, learning spaces, and technology to AU students and faculty.
Through this Spring E-Newsletter, we would like to share with you a few highlights: the planning on the project of the Tiger Giving Day this year is well under the way; the Libraries’ video game exhibit has been a big draw to many who visited the RBD Library, and two library student workers earned the rugby national championship. Furthermore, in collaboration with the University’s Outreach Office, the Libraries hosted its first outreach program that provided students from the underserved schools in the area with much exposure on advanced technology and learning tools at the RBD Library. The successful outreach program will indeed help us in gaining insight to better understand and serve AU students.
Again, on behalf of all library faculty and staff, I thank you for your generous support as we begin 2022. Working together with you all, we will be able to make the Libraries more resourceful for all AU students and faculty in the new year.
War Eagle!
