Newly promoted or tenured faculty members are invited to name a book that is special to them. A copy of each book identified, with a commemorative bookplate including the faculty member’s name and the year of promotion or tenure, will be added to the libraries’ collections. The selected books and the descriptions provided by the faculty are included in these programs which have been kept for historical purposes.
