The Collection

Aside from works with striking visuals, such as are seen here, the Auburn University Treasure Collection harbors a Truman Capote collection, composed mainly of first editions; an F. Scott Fitzgerald collection of rare editions; English language Bibles and sermons; travelogues, such as the first edition of William Bartram’s Travels; civil war memoirs; early international books in aviation history; a complete set of Auburn football programs, and many other rare publications. The Treasure Collection is located in the Special Collections and Archives Department in the Ralph Brown Draughon Library on the campus of Auburn University, in Auburn, AL.
