Auburn University Libraries’ Innovation and Research Commons (I&RC) is a place for turning ideas into reality. This interdisciplinary space fosters a spirit of exploration and play while providing technologies for research and innovation.
Access to technology and digital knowledge is crucial to students’ success in today’s world. The Auburn University Libraries would like to offer the opportunity to engage with our technology alongside our experts in the field.
Join us from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at one of our two sessions for an exciting, community-based outreach project focused on digital literacy, involving middle and high school students (13 – 19 years). AU Libraries will offer hands-on and interdisciplinary learning experiences for students involving Adobe instruction, 3D printing, Liquid Galaxy and Expanded Reality. Classes will be taught by AU Libraries’ instructors to a group of 20 students per session, assisting them in using the equipment and helping them to build valuable technical skills.
Free Adobe ID will be required for portions of this event. Attendees will need to have access to a personal email address to use for account creation during the session [https://spark.adobe.com] or create it with their parent prior to the session.
