In celebration of Auburn University's 150th. anniversary (sesquicentennial) in 2006, the Special Collections and Archives Department has mounted several exhibits pertaining to Auburn's history.

The three glass cases located on the north side (facing Samford Hall) feature three exhibits. One case features photographs, memorabilia, and other information about sports and Auburn student traditions such as having freshmen wear "rat" caps.

The Special Collections and Archives Department is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
