In celebration of Auburn University's 150th. anniversary (sesquicentennial) in 2006, the Special Collections and Archives Department has mounted several exhibits pertaining to Auburn's history.

"Through the Years in Auburn History" features numerous photographs, manuscript texts, founding documents, and pamphlets relating to the early days of Auburn, for example, the establishment of the East Alabama Male College in 1856 including information about the first Board of Trustees.

This exhibit is located in the three large glass cases immediately to one's left upon entering the Special Collections and Archives Department on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
