Located in the five flat glass exhibit cases on the east side (facing the Hotel and Dixon Conference Center) of the Special Collections and Archives Department is an exhibit featuring "Tigers on the Prowl."  In 2001 and 2002 the Auburn Chamber of Commerce participated in a fundraising project involving the production of 24 large plastic tigers, each weighing 300 pounds, for display around the town.  The exhibit features numerous photographs and newspaper clippings, plus captions providing information such as how these tigers were constructed and the fate of the "Tigers on the Prowl."

The Special Collections and Archives Department is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
