This is the Second Edition, published in 2002.  It contains 600 detailed articles and overviews of all the key information needs of small business owners, including financing, financial planning, business plan creation, market analysis, sales strategy, tax planning, and human resource issues.  The Encyclopedia of Small Business can be accessed by clicking on The Gale Virtual Reference Library link and then the "Business" link located in the lower left hand side of the screen.

This title is part of The Gale Virtual Reference Library , a database of 18 encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research published by Thomson Gale.  These works fall under the subjects of Business, the Environment, History, Literature, Medicine, the Nation and the World, Science, and Social Science.  Additional individual works will be profiled in forthcoming What's New library updates.
