Discover Auburn Lecture Series

A History of Auburn Engineering in the Nineteenth Century

Arthur Slotkin*

Wednesday, September 17 at 3 p.m.

Location:  Special Collections and Archives, on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

*Slotkin received a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Auburn University in 1968 and a master's degree in flight structures from Columbia University in 1969.  At Georgia Tech he also earned another master of science degree in the sociology and history of technology and science.  Arthur Slotkin will discuss the history of engineering at Auburn University based on his upcoming book, They Came from Auburn:  A History of Engineering in the New South.
