Inspired by a desire to provide easy and efficient opportunities for students to communicate with the Student Government Association, the SGA has so far installed three Auburn Answers iPad kiosks in high-traffic areas of campus including the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. The iPad Auburn Answers kiosk is located in front of the Caribou Coffee Café located in the Mell Street entrance lobby area on the Second Floor of the RBD Library.
Communicating is a simple four-step process: students are prompted to enter their name and e-mail address; and then are provided a chance to provide comments or suggestions which the system sorts into one of nine categories. This next goes to the SGA directors of student feedback and who, in turn, respond to the students directly via e-mail. This information is then compiled and sent to University administrators who can better address the concerns received.
In addition to the RBD Library location, Auburn Answers iPad kiosks are located in Village Dining and also near Chick-fil-A in the Student Center.
