Be sure to check library hours of operation during the Final Exam period and then Intersession by clicking on the Hours link located in the upper central part of the Auburn University Libraries homepage . The Final Exam period covers July 30 through August 1 and the Intersession period covers August 2 - 15.
The Library of Architecture, Design, and Construction (LADC), located in Dudley Hall, is undergoing renovation during July and August. The first phase of the renovation involves installing new carpet and painting on the Second Floor. In the process, books are being moved into temporary shelving on the Ground Floor and in the College of Design and Construction (CADC) Gallery. To commemorate the landing on the Moon of Apollo 11 that took place on July 20, 1969, the Ralph Brown Draughon Library has mounted an exhibit of some of the books in the library collections concerning the Apollo program. The books include histories commissioned by NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Agency) such as Stages to Saturn, memoirs by engineers who worked in the program such as Moon Lander, autobiographies of astronauts such as Carrying the Fire, and biographies of NASA's Marshall Spaceflight Center's Werner von Braun. The exhibit is in the New Books collection located in the Mell Street entrance lobby area on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library in front of the Caribou Coffee cafe.

Due to power substation maintenance, the Ralph Brown Draughon Library will be closed on Saturday, March 17. Library databases and digital collections will be offline from 5 a.m. until approximately 7 p.m. that day but the Auburn Universiy Libraries' classic catalog will be available during this time. The RBD Library will reopen and resume its regular schedule at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 18.
