Currently on display in the Special Collections and Archives Department is an exhibit on "Comer Hall and Family" celebrating the 100th. anniversary of the construction of Comer Hall on the Auburn University campus.

The exhibit features numerous photographs plus captions concerning the College of Agriculture, Comer Hall, and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.  Informative captions provide background information on federal legislation relating to agriculture such as the Morrill Land-Grant College Act of 1862, the Hatch Experiment Station Act of 1887, and the Smith-Lever Act of 1914.

The exhibit is located in the three large display cases immediately upon one's left when entering the Special Collections and Archives Department which itself is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

An exhibit concerning the war in the Pacific theatre of World War II is currently on display in the Special Collections and Archives Department.  The exhibit features maps, photographs, books, and other documents with a focus on the service of the late Eugene B. Sledge (Class of 1949).  The exhibit also features Sledge's handwritten diary, correspondence to his family, photographs, and even his Marines uniform.  The Eugene B. Sledge Papers are located in the Special Collections and Archives Department.  Some of this collection is also available via the Digital Collections .

The exhibit is located in the three upright glass display cases on the north side (i.e., facing Samford Hall) of the Special Collections and Archives Department.  The Department is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
